At least my kid didn't say that. My friend's typically developing 7 yr old did. However, The Butterfly has language trouble much beyond that simple misunderstanding. Like one simple piece of dialog in her Puppy Party dvd where the narrator says, "What will we do?" For six months The Butterfly insisted he said, "Scooby doo." She also insisted I repeat it, like she insists I repeat everything else she misunderstands, and in the exact way she has misunderstood it. I worked and worked with her on that one phrase, "What will we do?" I put it in many different contexts and voices. Had her stuffed toys say it to each other. Thought she had it right, saw a look of what I took for understanding... until she looked very seriously into my mouth (which is where she looks when she speaks to me) and said, "get more at the store."
Hesitantly, I said, "Okay, get more of what?"
And she said, "Get more 'woo dee doos.'"
.....
"Okay." I said. "Let me get my coat."
